We are in a Moon phase called Dark Moon. It is called this way because it is closest to the Sun in the sky. During this time, it reflects the least amount of sunlight to our planet. If you're currently experiencing the darkest side of the moon, take comfort in knowing that this phase doesn't last long.
The fiery Sun is in its own sign, Leo. In conjunction with the New Moon, the Sun brings a strong need for balance between dominance, ambition, ego versus acceptance, and love. As the Moon passes through a challenging Gandanta knot, it becomes emotionally vulnerable and weakened, leading to potential suppression by stronger forces. Individuals with a weak Moon-Sun relationship may find themselves overwhelmed and drawn into dominating or controlling situations.
Saturn retrograde revisits old habits, moral principles, laws and the established views of high authorities. Saturn retrograde serves as an important cleansing mechanism, shedding what no longer serves us. What needs to be released must go. These slow changes can impact not only personal lives but also countries and nations on a bigger scale.
Some of us may feel this shift more strongly than others. This time can push us out of our comfort zones and force us to redefine our boundaries. If you haven’t yet paid attention to your boundaries, now is the right time to recognize their importance. Laws, borders, privileges, class status, even love, and acceptance all exist within certain limits. Depending on your natal chart, this redefinition of boundaries can affect specific areas of your life, such as home, work, family, and more.
